WHAT A BUSY WEEKEND

SATURDAY

This morning before the crack of dawn when it was still quiet, dark, deep deep dark and cold a few of us rode to Gorsley Baptist Chapel. Why? You ask. Yes why indeed. Gorsely had invited us to speak at the Men's Breakfast. (The women didn't have to wear beards.)

There were a number of bikes in the church all lined up on the thoughtfully provided plastic. Some were ours and some from the men who were attending. Sadly the doors were not wide enough to accomodate the outfit 😓 .

Not to worry. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair followed by Gloucester Branch giving a 30 minute presentation. There were a number of contributors which made for a varied presentation between the PowerPoint and testimonies. The speakers touched our hearts with their openess and gave us all someting to pray about.

We ended the morning with tea and cake at the Good News Cafe in Newent.

Today we had a wonderful time. We chatted, ate and drank, shared, we laughed and we rode.

SUNDAY

GLOS HONDA OWNERS BREAKFAST MEETTING

A truly wonderful cooked breakfast at this new venue with some great conversation thrown in.
Followed by a short run out for some.
For us a practice run for our forth coming camping weekend.
( Slimbridge 6th to 8th April )

Next week we shall be at St John's Church in Churchdown. We will be taking the whole service apart from the communion. More details to follow, until then, ride safe.

After service lunch / fellowship to be confirmed

Hope to see you there.

What a wonderful day.
The sun out on our backs as we rode to Stonehouse for the church visit to Stonehouse Community Church.
We were made most welcome and the presentation well received.
Stuart and myself all did a small presentation/interaction with the youth group again greatly appreciated and the bikes on the forecourt were a great attraction.
All in all a good job well done - with many interesting conversations over coffee afterwards.
The afternoon was finished off with a picnic lunch at friends of our's in Stonehouse (Ray & Marg) who most graciously provided tea & Coffee taken on their patio in the glorious sunshine.
We had a visitor on this occasion, Simon from our Dorset branch who in moving to this area.
He was made most welcome, feed & watered physically as well as spiritually, I am sure we will be seeing more of him this season.
God Bless
Alan
