Hi Everyone

This Friday, Zink's swimmers are taking to the water to raise funds for High Peak Foodbank and Zink by swimming the equivalent of the English Channel between them!

This time last year some of them couldn't even swim!

The team is made up of Zink clients and supporters. Some are autistic, have disabilities or are recovering from mental illness or substance misuse. They all have their own target from 10 to 200 lengths to contribute towards the team goal.

Two special guests will be joining the team:
Regular Zink & Swimmer, David Manning - David won Olympic Gold at the 1981 Special Olympics in Belgium.
High Peak Mayor, Barbara Hastings Asatourian.

Proceeds will help Zink to continue to support families in hardship in High Peak area.

103 years old! What an incredible milestone!

During the Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations at Stockport Ukrainian Club, we had the honour of celebrating a very special guest, Pan Kluba, who recently turned 103!

Originally from the Lviv region of Ukraine, Pan Kluba has lived through more than a century of history and is a wonderful connection to Ukraine’s past and present.

It was a privilege to celebrate this special day together and wish Pan Kluba a very happy 103rd birthday.
