It amazes me that military veterans can survive inspections, pressure and chaos…
…but losing the TV remote can still destroy an entire household. 😂
You suddenly see fully grown adults turning cushions upside down like it’s a national emergency.
Everybody becomes a detective.
“Who had it last?”
“Check under the chair!”
“Try the kitchen!”
Meanwhile the remote is usually sitting in plain sight the whole time. 😄
But honestly, life’s funny like that.
We handle massive problems surprisingly well…
yet tiny inconveniences can completely test our patience.
Maybe because it’s never really about the remote.
Usually we’re already stressed, tired, overloaded or mentally full.
And one tiny thing pushes us over the edge.
That’s why grace matters.
With other people…
and with ourselves.
Most people aren’t angry about the remote.
They’re exhausted from life. 😂
