The Bible is our infallible guide for salvation and for the Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
3. We believe that man was created in the image of God and is accountable to Him as Creator. (Genesis 1:27)
4. We believe that every individual who has ever lived (with
the exception of Jesus Christ) has broken God's law and fallen short of His standard. (Romans 3:23)
5. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth and His perfect sinless humanity. (John 1:1&14, Matthew 1:20-21, 1 Peter 2:21-22)
6. We believe that Christ died for our sins upon the cross, and was raised again the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
7. We believe that God provides forgiveness of sins, eternal life and a home in Heaven as a free gift to all who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31)
8. We believe that Christ will one day return to the air to take all believers to be with Himself forever (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) and that subsequent to this He will return to the earth in glory to reign in righteousness. (Zechariah 14)
9. We believe in the ordinance of baptism by immersion upon an individual's personal confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolises that a person has died to a life of sin and that they have been raised to live a new life of holiness in Christ. (Acts 8:36-39)
10. We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, observed on the first day of each week, through which believers remember the Lord Jesus Christ by partaking of bread and wine, symbolising His body and His blood. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
