Amen! Happy pride month to all who celebrate!🙌

Join us in prayer a Pride Month, shared by Pam Gold, Coordinator of the Solidarity Circle for LGBT+

Loving God we thank you for the richness of Diversity which you have created.
As we go through the month of June, when the LGBTQ+ community celebrate Pride, we ask of you:
Teach us the real meaning of 'All are welcome' where all are fully and richly included in every aspect of our Christian Lives.
Reach out to those who do not know you yet but are seeking.
Work on the hearts of those who cannot accept us, that they may have a change of heart and mandate a willingness to be inclusive.
We thank you God for the love you give and we trust that even now hearts are being touched by the power of your Holy Spirit.
Amen.

For World Environment Day, our Net Zero engagement officer Jack shares his reflections on climate action and faith 💬

"For the Methodist Church, our commitment to net zero is not just driven by our belief that we need to restore good relations with the rest of God’s creation. With climate change posing a disproportionate risk to the world’s most vulnerable communities, it is also part of our enduring mission to seek and do justice.

This World Environment Day, we call to mind that although the injustice of a warming world is global in scope, the work we can do to limit this warming starts in our own lives, our own churches, and our own communities.”

⛪️Last Sunday we gathered in worship and celebrated the anniversary of the Methodist Church in Glasgow West, serving our community since the 1880s. ⛪️

As we reflected together, the congregation shared their gratitude for the love, patience, and support they have experienced through the church, and for God's call to serve His people.

We were reminded that the Church is not just a building but a community where all are welcomed, valued, and invited to share in God's love and promise of salvation.

We trust in a faithful God whose promises endure and are lived out through people, generation after generation.
