The Glasgow Orange choir (notes from David Bryce)
Was formally instituted in Maitland Street orange halls on 11th of December by the then Grand Master Colonel A D McInnes Shaw, it went on to sing at various Orange halls churches.
Sister Flo Stevenson was the first choir mistress and organist followed by Bro George Irvine as choir master
My mother father and grandfather were all in it and my mother and grandfather prominent soloists Grandfather was vice chairman.
Bro Ian Fraser with thanks to Bro David Bryce’s notes
Somewhere in my house tho I can not find it there is a photo of the choir singing at Ibrox in which I think Churchill attended
