Easter Divine Liturgy – Glasgow
12/04/2026
There are moments that stay with you not just in memory, but in your heart. This Easter Divine Liturgy at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glasgow was one of those moments. It was not simply a gathering, but a deeply spiritual experience where our community came together in faith, love, and unity. Armenians, along with our Russian and Scottish brothers and sisters, stood side by side different backgrounds, one faith, one spirit. It was a powerful reminder that our community is alive, growing, and beautifully united.
Fr Nshan led the liturgy with such depth and grace that every word felt personal. He spoke about the true meaning of Easter, the Resurrection, hope, and renewal in a way that touched every soul present. You could feel the silence, the reflection, the connectiom. It was more than a service, it was a moment of awakening, bringing us closer to God and reminding us of what truly matters.
After the liturgy, that spirit did not fade, it grew. We gathered together in warmth, sharing food, heartfelt conversations, and singing Armenian traditional songs that carried both joy and history. Then, in a truly special continuation of the day, our dear Rubik and Zamira opened their home to us. There, we witnessed the blessing of their house by Fr Nshan, a moment filled with light, peace, and deep emotion. It felt as though grace had entered the home, and with it, a quiet but powerful sense that we had all moved one step closer to our faith.
This was not just a day. It was a blessing. 🙏
