It is with deep and sorrowful regret that Partick Murray Club, Apprentice Boys of Derry, learns of the sudden passing of our dearly beloved Brother and Past Vice-President, Bro. Stevie Train.
Stevie’s sudden passing has come as a tremendous shock and will be deeply felt by all within our Club and by the many people who knew him.
A stalwart Loyalist and proprietor of the Windsor Tavern, Stevie was a well-known and familiar face to many throughout Partick and beyond.
At this extremely difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife Louise, his son Bro. Gary Train, his daughter Tracy, and the entire family circle.
Our thoughts are also with the Brethren and Sisters of Partick Orange & Purple District No. 15, and in particular the Brothers of his own Private Lodge, Sons of Glasgow L.O.L. No. 50, who have lost a much-loved Brother.
Stevie will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will remain with us for many years to come.
“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.”
Revelation 14:13.
It is with broken hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our much loved Stevie
More than just the owner of the Windsor Tavern, he was the heart of the pub, a friend to many and someone who made so many memories within these walls.
The family are absolutely devastated by his passing, and during this incredibly difficult time, we would like to thank everyone for their kind words, messages and support.
He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him💙🙏🏽
