The mosque is a charitable trust, originally set up by the Glaswegian Bangladeshi community in the 1970s. It has since catered for university students from a multitude of different countries, school students, and the muslim communities in the west-end of Glasgow. "Seest thou not how God sets forth a parable: A goodly word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reaching) to the heavens.."

Dawatul Islam Glasgow warmly invites you to join Eid Jamaat on 27th May 2026 (Wednesday).

Eid Prayer Timing: 1st Jamaat - 8.00 am, 2nd Jamaat - 9.30 am.

Assalamu Alaikum,

Please be informed that the timing for Esha prayer will be adjusted starting tomorrow.

From the 10th of Ramadan (27th February 2026), Esha prayer will move from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM. This timing (8:15 PM) will continue for the remainder of this week.

Beginning next week Friday (6th March 2026), the Esha prayer time will change again to 8:30 PM.

Kindly take note of these changes and adjust your schedules accordingly.
