Aradhana Day message from Brother Ajay the Regional Coordinator for Suriname. Its too good not to share.

Aradhana Mahotsavam
April 24th, 2026
“More action, less ritual!”
Sai Ram, dear brothers and sisters.
Today we don’t light lamps to illuminate an absence. Today we look in the mirror. Because Swami never left. We sometimes left – from His path of action to our path of comfort.
Stop missing Him! Start living Him!
When Swami left His physical body, He did not say: “Mourn Me.” He said: “Why fear when I am here?” And He also said: “My Life is My Message.”
His life was not a mantra. It was a hospital in Puttaparthi where a poor farmer gets open-heart surgery for free. It was a school where a child learns that character is greater than career. It was water for villages that were thirsty and many more!
That was His bhajan. That was His prayer. Hands that help are holier than lips that pray.
So, we should ask today on His Aradhana: How many hospitals have we built since 2011? How much thirst have we quenched? How many hungry mouths have we fed? Or have we only bought a bigger frame for His photo and more expensive incense?
Rituals without love are empty bowls!
Swami had nothing against aarti. He had nothing against bhajans. But listen carefully to what He said: “I don’t want flowers. I want your heart full of love. I don’t want camphor. I want your ego to burn.”
If your Thursday aarti doesn’t make you gentler on Friday, then it was theater. If chanting His 108 names doesn’t stop you from gossiping about your neighbor, then you’re only counting your own hypocrisy.
Aradhana means worship through action. Swami never asked: “How many malas have you turned?” He asked: “Whom did you help today when no one was watching?”
The only true samadhi is in service! Service in His Mission!
They say Swami lies in Mahasamadhi in Puttaparthi. Wrong!
Swami lies in every ambulance that runs for free.
Swami breathes in every teacher who teaches a child without counting salary.
Swami’s heart beats in every hand that bathes an elderly person without making a face.
Want to visit Swami’s tomb? Visit the home of someone who is lonely. You will feel Him there. Want prasadam? First give prasadam: a meal to someone who sleeps hungry tonight.
Your assignment starting today
One deed per day: Not grand. Grand is for ego. Call that one aunt no one calls. Anonymously pay the bill for the person behind you in line. Clean up someone else’s mess.
One habit per month: Quit something that hurts others – gossip, anger, waste. Start something that heals – listening, forgiving, sharing.
One question every night: Not “Did I pray?” But: “Did anyone have less pain today because of me?”
If the answer is no, then your day was a ritual. If the answer is yes, then your day was Aradhana.
Become His resurrection!
The world doesn’t need people who shout “Sai Baba ki Jai”. The world is crying out for people who are what He stood for.
On April 24, 2011, His heart stopped beating. Today, April 24, 2026, our hearts must start beating for others. Then He is not dead. Then He has risen – in you. In me. In us.
So don’t end this message with three times Shanti. End it with one decision: From tomorrow, I am the proof that Sathya Sai Baba lives.
Because Love All, Serve All is not a quote for a wall. It’s an order for the street.
This isn’t a sermon to nod to. This is a call to stand up.
Work is Worship, Duty is God!
Jai Sai Ram!
In Sai service,
Ajay Haripersad, Suriname
