🪊 It was a privilege to host The Metro Big Band at Harper last night! 🎷

It was a blessing to welcome the team from across the pond as they sought to provide not just a free concert... But a free concert that pointed to King Jesus! We got to experience everything from Jazz hits, to Scottish classics, to old hymns, all in Jazz style.

A big thank you to our friends at Global Missions Project and Origin Scotland for making this happen.

🕵️ Yesterday we rounded off our Holiday Club Week with an all age family service! 🕵️

The whole congregation got involved with our Holiday Club Songs, memory verses and stories. A big thanks to all the leaders who've helped make our holiday club happen.

🎶 Who said free concerts no longer exist! 🎶

Harper is hosting exactly that next Saturday (15th) at 7:30PM. Come and join us!

Global Missions Project's Metro Big Band are coming back to Scotland this summer but they are not just staying in Edinburgh this time! They are bringing their classic big band jazz standards and big band arrangements of Christian songs and hymns to Glasgow, Fort William, Inverness, Portree, Stornoway and Ness.

If you or anyone you know is in the area be sure to catch them, no tickets required

🍲 Community Meal is back! 🍝

After a summer break our community meal returns tomorrow at 5.30PM!

Community meal is a great opportunity to come and hang out with folks from all walks of life and have dinner together. Everyone is welcome... and plus, the food is free!

🇺🇬 One of our members recently returned from a trip to Uganda! 🇺🇬

In Uganda she worked alongside the team at Rock Projects seeking to be an encouragement to them in their work as they labour for the Gospel.

Rock Projects originated not far outside the capital Kampala and seeks to provide care and to underprivileged children in their local area. This involves providing shelter, hot meals, as well as a full education in an environment which builds confidence and points every child to our saviour Jesus Christ!

Earlier this month we shared the privilege of Baptising Tania and welcoming her into membership. ✝

It was a joy to hear Tania testifying of her Saviour and the security she has, knowing that her salvation is solely dependent on him alone.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him, should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3 v 16
