Glasgow University Christian Union We exist to give students a chance to hear about Jesus. Like this page to hear about events. We exist to give everyone an opportunity to hear about Jesus.

We run all sorts of things around campus regularly. You might have chatted to us while we were giving out free tea and coffee outside the unions, or been handed one of our flyers or even come along to one of our events yourself. We run events to give you a chance to see why we believe what we do, and so that you can challenge your ideas about Jesus. You might be really sceptical, you might think w

Another day, another round of events!! 🥳👀

If you missed our walking tour yesterday, do not worry! We have our walking tour on again today at 1pm meeting at the Main Gate! 🚶☀️

🎶 Tonight is our Scottish Acoustic Music night!

Come along to hear some traditional Scottish music, chat and eat snacks with other students and get the chance to try out some traditional Scottish dancing in the mini ceilidh! 🕺

WELCOME TO GUCU FRESHERS 2026 🥳🥳

We’re so excited to announce all the super duper fun events we’ve got planned for freshers week!

Whether you’re a Christian, curious about faith, or just fancy one of our events, you’re welcome here 🤝

We’ve got so much on offer for freshers week, from pub quizzes and plenty of food 🥞 to 5Ks 🏃‍♀️, football tournaments ⚽️ and everything in between- there’s something for everyone!

No need to sign up or bring anything other than yourself (and maybe some friends)

So come along, meet some people, have lots of fun, and find out what the Christian Union is all about! ✝️

Welcome to the second day of International Welcome Week!!

Today we have arranged a walking tour for you at 1pm.
Meet us at the Glasgow University Main Gate. 🚶‍♀️

This is an amazing opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with your new university ahead of the start of the semester. 📚

But that’s not all! The Christian Union are hosting a free Scottish dinner at the Sandyford Henderson Memorial Church from 6-8pm. Come and try some delicious Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 cuisine, meet new people and have great conversations!

INTERNATIONAL WELCOME WEEK HAS LANDED 🎉✈️🌍

We’re so excited to welcome international students to Glasgow for International Welcome Week 2026! 🎉

Whether you’ve just landed in Scotland ✈️ or you’ve been here for a while, we’d love to meet you! We’ve got a whole week of events lined up from Tuesday 8th September, including:

🚶‍♀️ Walking tours of campus
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scottish dinners and music nights
🌊A trip to Loch Lomond that only costs your train ticket!

OLD SCHOOL SPORTS DAY + BBQ 🌭⚽️
