I wish I could say that this is a piece of q***r history and in the past, but HIV and AIDS are still very much with us, though for many of us, easier to forget about now than it used to be.

Head along to the Tramway where the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt will be exhibited from the 11th September.

πŸ“’The UK AIDS Memorial Quilt display at Tramway from 12 Sep - 4 Oct is accompanied by an extensive public programme, including events curated by Glasgow-based artist and researcher Steven Grainger.

Opening with a Preview (Fri 11 Sep), and the traditional Reading of the Names ceremony (Sat 12 Sep) the programme features screenings, talks, workshops and conversations.

🎫All events at Tramway are free, though some are ticketed/limited capacity.

πŸͺ© Outwith Tramway, The Vic & Assembly at the Art School is hosting a fundraiser for the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt (Thu 24 Sep), curated by HuussH and Colin (Hot Mess Disco)

Visit our website for full details of all events and ticket links where required.

Conflict is a difficult thing but, luckily, the Bible has a lot to say about how to resolve it. Come along this Sunday to find out what we can learn from the ancient book and how it can be relevant to us centuries later.

We meet for worship every Sunday at 3pm at Shawlands URC, 111 Moss-side Rd, G41 3TP.

All are welcome in God's house! That's what this Sunday's service is all about. It's a message that many of us missed because we were told, or believed, otherwise.

It's a huge statement, do we believe it? Who else needs to hear it?

Come along this Sunday and be challenged, renewed and restored.

We meet for worship every Sunday at 3pm at Shawlands URC, 111 Moss-side Rd, G41 3TP.

Some well known MCCinG folk took part in making Exiled for Existing, a short film made by LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum-seekers in Scotland.

The film was produced by Media Co-op in partnership with LGBT Unity and National Library of Scotland.

We were thrilled to show it in church last week. If you missed it, click on the link!

It's the last Sunday of the month! So please come and worship with us and then stay a while and share food with us. Everyone is welcome and there is always plenty of food so no need to bring anything.

Also - after the service (and before food), we will be screening a short (8 minute) film called Exiled for Existing by Media Co-op We are very proud that some of our friends and members were involved in creating it.

Come along this Sunday and be challenged, renewed and restored.

We meet for worship every Sunday at 3pm at Shawlands URC, 111 Moss-side Rd, G41 3TP.

Last week we were stood at the McLennan Arch waiting for the Pride march to start. This week we were in the same spot with 1000s of friends standing in defiance and shouting a loud and persistent no to the anti immigrant demonstration. We were there for our friends, our congregation, our neighbours and our siblings.

There were a lot of fantastic placards β™₯️
