The new edition of Flourish is now available in parishes FREE this weekend.
The June edition has a special focus on the Pope's new encyclical, exploring how AI affects YOUR everyday life.
Special focus too on St Peter's in Partick as renovations are completed on the lovely old building.
Also in the new edition ... how marble from some old Glasgow churches is being re-used at Carfin;
a surpise honour for a much-loved missionary priest,
and the enduring appeal of St Thérèse of Lisieux.
And much more!

Happy feast of St Joseph the Worker!
Pope Leo's prayer intention for May 2026 is ...that everyone might have food
Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.

1st May - Feast of St Joseph, the worker

Today, on this Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, let us pray to God, remembering the model of Joseph.

God, give us work so that we may share our talents with others and know the dignity and satisfaction that you give us through our efforts. Give us patience while you open doors and wisdom to see your will. Keep our families in your care, and provide for all our needs. Never let stress diminish our love for each other nor our work as part of your healing ministry. In your name we pray. Amen.

The new May edition of Flourish is out this weekend. The Holy Father's appeal to pray the Rosary for peace dominates the front cover for the month of Our Lady

Inside there are features on the Archdiocese's communications work with social media reach of over 1.8 million in the first quarter of this year. (Communications Sunday is later this month)

Features too on parishes merging for the future, on the upcoming Scottish election with the Bishops' guidance, and on a newly renovated well at Glasgow Cathedral which has become a striking visitor attraction.

Take a copy home - and why not deliver it to a neightbour? That would be evangelisation in action!
