No Doubt: Finding Certainty in an Age of Uncertainty

We are constantly exposed to questions, misconceptions and challenges to our Islamic faith, how do we develop real certainty and confidence - and how do we help friends and family do the same?

Ibrahim Masjid is pleased to host Sapience Institute for a powerful full-day course designed to equip attendees with the tools to understand and respond to destructive doubts about Islam (shubuhāt).

The course will explore 10 practical and effective strategies for dealing with doubts, strengthening conviction and building a firm foundation in the Islamic worldview. Whether you are involved in daʿwah, teaching, youth work, community support, or simply just want to strengthen your own faith, this course is unmissable for navigating an age of uncertainty with greater clarity and confidence.

🌟 Young Muslimah Toolkit - Final Session: Career & Future 🌟

We concluded our Young Muslimah Toolkit with an inspiring final session focused on Career and Future.

The girls explored different career pathways, subject choices, interview skills, CV writing and the importance of building strong professional networks. They also interacted with our questions through Mentimeter, learning how valuable skills can be developed through a wide range of everyday experiences, including education, volunteering, helping at events and taking on responsibilities.

Through creative activities, the girls had the opportunity to draw and imagine what they would like their futures to look like, encouraging them to think confidently and purposefully about their goals.

Most importantly, we discussed how Islamic values such as sincerity (Ikhlas), honesty (Sidq), responsibility and trustworthiness (Amanah), fairness (Adl), patience (Sabr), excellence (Ihsan) and trust in Allah (Tawakkul) should guide our education, career choices and future goals. 🌟

We finished the session with a fun and competitive Kahoot quiz, allowing the girls to reflect on and test everything they had learned throughout the day!

It was a wonderful session filled with learning, reflection, creativity and meaningful conversations. We pray that every young Muslimah feels confident in her abilities, remains grounded in her faith and continues working towards a future filled with purpose and benefit. 🤍

Alhamdulillah, another successful and exciting session as the children travelled back in time to explore the history of the Ottoman Empire!

They learned how the Ottoman Empire was established, discovered traditional Ottoman clothing, visited a mini Ottoman market stall, crafted their own wooden swords, and took part in a council meeting with fellow “tribe leaders” to discuss ideas and make important decisions.

The session was filled with laughter, excitement, creativity, teamwork and lots of valuable learning. 😁😆

A huge thank you to all the parents for bringing their children and supporting our programme. We hope these sessions continue to inspire our young Muslims to learn about, appreciate and feel proud of their rich Islamic history and heritage. 💙

Our children travelled back in time to discover the beauty and brilliance of Al-Andalus! 🌍

They learned about the remarkable achievements of the Andalusians, from their stunning architecture and peaceful gardens to their clever water systems and inventions. The children especially enjoyed getting creative and building their very own water machines! 💧⚙️

It was wonderful to see them learning about the greatness of our Islamic history while exploring, creating and having fun. May these sessions inspire our children to be proud of their heritage and to become the thinkers, inventors and leaders of tomorrow. 🤍

A huge thank you to all the parents for bringing their children along and supporting these sessions. May Allah reward you all, place barakah in your children, increase them in beneficial knowledge and make them a source of goodness for the Ummah. Ameen. 🤲

Alhamdulillah, this week's Around the World with Islam: Golden Age of Islam session was a great success! 🥳

The children enjoyed a day filled with learning, creativity and hands-on activities. They discovered the lives and achievements of famous Muslim scholars, inventors and pioneers, then had the opportunity to explore their work through practical workshops in engineering, mathematics, medicine, geography and electricity. 🩺🌍➗🟰➕⚡️💡

It was wonderful to see so many children engaged, asking questions, building models and taking pride in the incredible contributions Muslims have made throughout history. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for bringing their children and supporting the programme. Your encouragement plays an important role in helping our children remain connected to Islam and the masjid. 🫶

We hope these sessions inspire our young people to learn from our Islamic history, recognise the greatness within their heritage and believe that, with faith, knowledge and hard work, they too can become scholars, inventors, leaders and positive contributors to the world. 🥰

May Allah increase our children in beneficial knowledge, strengthen their Islamic identity and allow them to help the Ummah rise again. Ameen. 🙏🏻🤲
