Cathcart Old Parish Church (Church of Scotland) sits in the heart of its community. We strive energetically to provide care and assistance to those less fortunate within our community and much further afield. We provide for differently abled children and young people through Ozzy's and the Saturday Cafe and associated organisations. Glasgow the Caring City (www.glasgowthecaringcity.com) has been i

nvolved in International Aid relief for many years. Aid and direct assistance has been provided from Bosnia to Southern Africa and from New York to Sri Lanka. Many projects continue closer to home, including "Give a kid a Goal" in primary schools across West central Scotland. We have direct chaplaincy links with Police Scotland. We have close links with the Royal Marines, the fire Service and our local Political representatives. We have many thriving organisations and our Sunday school grows year on year. Cathcart Old Parish church was the home of Celebration City and hosted dozens of events linked to the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014. Cathcart Old is committed to its links with those from other denominations and other faiths. All are welcome in this place.
