Global Fellowship are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Lal, Chairman and President of The Indian Council of Scotland and United Kingdom as a Voluntary Ambassador recognising his contribution to community leadership, international engagement, and youth empowerment.

Neil Lal said: "As a proud ex member of the BB I am honoured to accept this appointment and support the important work of the Global Fellowship of Christian Youth. Across the world, young people are seeking purpose, opportunity, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to society. I look forward to working with GF to help strengthen partnerships across The Boys' Brigade international network"

GF General Manager Bill Stevenson also said "We are delighted that Neil is keen to help us develop our work even further, he knows and supports the values of the BB and our kindred organisations"

GF are also looking to appoint other ambassadors during the course of the year.

So pleased that GF has been represented at the UN's SB64 Climate Change conference which is taking place in Bonn, Germany.

The UNFCCC's Executive Secretary delivered the keynote speech to open proceedings. There were also plenary sessions and various workshops. Really encouraging to see delegates and civil society representatives all sharing their experiences and suggestions for future work programme.

So important to have young people round the table at these meetings.
