Remember that part of Main Street will be closed this Sunday (as you may have seen from signage).

From 9:30am on Sunday the road will be closed between Michael McParland Drive and Rosehill Road.

As a result, you may need to plan an alternate route or leave extra time (even after the clock change) to get to Church. Or, if you usually come from the South by car, reach out to someone who stays in in the streets accessible prior to reaching the closure too see if you can park at theirs and walk to church together.

Join us for our family Christingle service at 4pm today (Christmas Eve).

Christingle means ‘Christ’s Light’ and it is a symbol of the Christian faith. Lots of churches hold Christingle services around Christmas time. The custom of giving out lighted candles in these services began in Germany in 1747 but it wasn’t introduced to the UK until the late 60’s.

Christingles are made up of different parts, each one being there to remind us of something and it starts with an orange ……

As the year draws to a close, many of us carry grief, loss, or simply the weight of a difficult season. If 2025 has been hard for you, you’re not alone.

On Monday 15 December at 8pm, we’re holding a quiet Reflective Service in the Church — a simple, welcoming space to pause, reflect, and bring whatever burdens you’re carrying. It’s open to everyone, whether or not you usually come to church.

At the end of the short service you’re very welcome to remain and sit quietly. Or, if you prefer, join others for a cup of tea or coffee and conversation.

If you know someone who’s had a tough year, please feel free to share or come along together.
