Last night Girls Brigade Glasgow held their annual review in the City Chambers. A wonderful night to celebrate the achievement of girls throughout the Division. Also a night to acknowledge the wonderful service given by Leaders. Girls' Brigade Scotland congratulates every one of them but, in particular we want to thank Brenda Diamond for all the hard work she has done over many years as Divisional Coordinator and as Commissioner for 6 years before that. Brenda has given exceptional service over many, many years and we wish her every blessing in the future.

Lots of happy smiles to start the week at Girls' Brigade Scotland At the start of Volunteer Week in Scotland this is just one example of what our Leaders do so well.

Sarah-Jane, Leader in Charge of 1st Dalserf Company sent us these great photos of their girls at camp last weekend. She tells us that,

"We had a fantastic weekend at camp! The weather was dry, with gorgeous sunshine, and the weekend was packed full of fun.

Activity weekends are always great fun, but they also take hard work. They challenge the girls to push themselves, try new things, and step outside their comfort zones — and they did exactly that.

Throughout the weekend we took part in abseiling, canoeing, problem solving, archery, PGL games, and learning survival skills, and the Giant Swing.

Most importantly, the girls made amazing memories, showed great teamwork, and supported one another every step of the way".
