Happy "Tune Tuesday" everyone! Hope you are ready for another week of worship music!

Our song choice this week is "Days of Elijah" by Robin Mark

A throwback to the late 90's this week, It has been a long time since I last heard this song but when it came up in my recommended listens the lyrics really resonated with me, and I caught myself humming the song as I was going about my week.

The lyrics "And though these are days of great trial, of Famine and darkness and sword" feel like they resonate still today when there is so much conflict and struggle in the world, however we are reminded that "we are the voice in the desert crying "prepare ye the way of the Lord!""

Ultimately the song is a call for us to have hope, and to share the good news of the gospel!

Our stall at the Eaglesham Fair is all set up!!

Last Sunday we had the joy of celebrating 10 years since the opening on the Carswell Centre with a sandwich lunch, pastries, and cake!

The Carswell Centre has been a blessing for the church and the many group who use it each week and we can't wait to see what happens over the next 10 years!

Thanks to all who use the halls and help keep it running!

This weeks song is "Way Maker" by Leeland

Originally written by the Nigerian worship leader Sinach (who you should also go listen to), I first heard the song when listening to the rendition by Leeland at the start of Covid. During a time where there was so much we didn't know, there was something that kept bringing me back to the chorus of the song:

"Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness, my God
That is who You are"

The hope that comes from singing who God is, and that he is in all aspects of our lives, making the way forward. Since then this has been one of my favourite songs to come back to.

This year we are excited to have a stall at the Eaglesham Fair!

We are also going to be raising money for our Church Steeple Fund as our Church steeple is in need of serious repairs! If you are able to give please help support us keep this landmark of the village standing!

We are excited to announce that registration for this year's holiday club is now OPEN!

Our theme this year is "Fit for a King" a sporty themed holiday club perfect for a summer where the Commonwealth Games return to Glasgow! Join us for a week filled with drama, songs, crafts, games, messy challenges, and a chance to learn about the love of Jesus and how we can live our lives for him!
