A Season of Listening

Listening for what God is already doing

This autumn, we are creating space across the Presbytery for a series of Saturday morning gatherings (9:00–13:00) to listen prayerfully to the lived realities of church, mission and discipleship in our contexts — and discern together what God is already at work among us.

19 September — East (Sandyhills Parish Church)
3 October — North (Moodiesburn Parish Church)
10 October — Southwest (Orchardlea Community Church)
24 October — Southeast (Cathcart Church of Scotland)

What a wonderful morning we had today with The Moderator Right Rev Gordon Kennedy coming home to Partick Victoria Park. A great service, fitting words at the dedication of the memorial garden and finally a hearty lunch. The whole occasion was filled with joy. Apologies to those worshipping online as the internet connection dropped out near the end. The BIG thank you for everyone involved in preparing the church, those in the kitchen, those serving and clearing up, and of course the Garden Church team. Thank you to everyone who brought donation of food for the pot luck lunch. To top it off, God blessed us with sunny weather. Here are just a few of the pictures of the wonderful day

Tomorrow, Sunday 31st May The Moderator of the Church of Scotland, The Right Reverend Gordon Kennedy will be preaching on his theme for the year "Walk in all His ways". After the service the Moderator will be dedicating our Memorial Garden followed by a free church lunch. All are welcome.
