And so the Service of Union and Linkage is tonight in the Eastwood Sanctuary at 7pm …. Where a new chapter begins. An exciting chapter where we will join together as one family to worship and praise, to serve and to pray … so why not come and join us and follow us on our new page Auldburn Trinity Church.

Here are some more well kent faces around the church …. It’s our people that make our congregation and will go into our new congregation Auldburn Trinity and it will make new memories, host new events serve the congregation and parish

The next two days are looking at our people …. Our Elders who work tirelessly , our congregation who support and work for congregation and parish …. The church is not the building the church is the people who come and gather together in HIS name and worship HIM
The well know hymn says it succinctly

The Church is wherever God's people are praising,
knowing they're wanted and loved by their Lord.
The Church is wherever Christ's followers are trying
to live and to share out the good news of God.

Our Events ….. there are so many …. To many to mention always outward looking to how we can connect and serve our community …. Our 150th anniversary celebration at the City Chambers , Fetes Carnivals, bus trips , house groups , Easter walks with our ecumenical neighbours , Burns suppers, Hosting the singer song writer Stuart Townend christenings and weddings to name but a few

And now to the 29th Girls Brigade …. From camps to Duke of Edinburgh exhibitions , parades to gatherings service to others and making life long friends … the company helped form the young women of the future

Today’s spotlight falls on the 145 Boys Brigade company . The 145 raised and molded hundreds of young men into strong respected members of our community until its merger with the 45th Boys Brigade Company who meet at Shawlands Trinity Church.
