Dr Korczak’s Example – Theatre at Glasgow Reform Synagogue

dRC Theatre Productions, in conjunction with the Glasgow Jewish Community, presents Dr Korczak’s Example, a powerful play by David Greig. The production will be performed at Glasgow Reform Synagogue from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 January at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Wednesday 28 January at 1.15pm.

GRS is participating in Doors Open Days for the first time on Sunday 21st September from 11am-2pm.

There will be guided tours of the Synagogue sanctuary, library, and function suite with step-free access throughout. The tour will be an opportunity to learn about Progressive Judaism and the history of GRS.

There will also be a donation-based pop up cafe and gluten free options.

Guided tours at 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

Last weekend GRS welcomed more than 60 members and friends to our summer BBQ. A fun afternoon was enjoyed by all, helped along by a selection of tasty barbecued burgers, sausages and vegetarian options, accompanied by colourful salads. Fruit and refreshments were also on offer.

We were delighted that Local MP, Blair McDougall attended and chatted with members and guests.

GRS Chair, Jackie Sevitt said, ‘’The event offered people of all ages from across the community the opportunity to mingle, natter and enjoy some delicious food on an unexpectedly dry (but rather windy!) afternoon.”
