Small group of Bible believers in the Southside of Glasgow who meet regularly to discuss the good news of Jesus Christ and eagerly await his return to set up God's Kingdom on earth. We are a small group of Christadelphians (this simply means brothers or sisters in Christ) who meet several times a week to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus and read the Bible (which we believe is the inspi

red word of God). We believe that by adult baptism into Jesus, a believer can please God, pray for forgiveness and be granted (by his grace and mercy) a place in the future Kingdom of God on earth, where the problems of this world will be fixed.

In our latest blogpost, Elizabeth talks about the concept of believers, both during the time of the early church and today, who all brought their own skills to work together in a united way to preach and show the values of Jesus to the world around.

The words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 12 v27 summarise this for us:
"π‘΅π’π’˜ π’šπ’π’– 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π’ƒπ’π’…π’š 𝒐𝒇 π‘ͺπ’‰π’“π’Šπ’”π’•, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 π’šπ’π’– π’Šπ’” 𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 π’Šπ’•."

In this week's blogpost, Amy looks at the concept of belonging.

"Belonging is both a feeling and a practice; something we can experience individually and create collectively. And whilst it is certainly not unique or solely applicable to a person of faith, there are unquestionably strong ties between the two."

On the run up to Easter, this is such an important thing to consider. As unlikely an event as someone being resurrected from death, it is the only logical explanation for what happened to Jesus.

From the events of just three days in the first century AD, Christianity emerged and has changed the course of human history. But why? And how? What happened...

Our Christmas blogpost is by Elizabeth and Gary, looking at the words of the well-known and well-loved carol Hark! The herald angels sing. We look at the message of hope that it gives, thinking about how the angels told the shepherds the good news about the birth of Jesus.

Yet there is more to it than that, and we especially focus on the line "Born to give them second birth" to see just how significant that really is.

Click on the link or look in the comments to see the video of us singing the carol from back in 2020.

This carol is often sung at Christmas time to mark the birth of Jesus. It is based on the record in Luke’s gospel of angels telling the shepherds the good news about Jesus (see Luke 2: 8-14). & #822…

Amy's written our latest blog post, where she reflects on home comforts during autumn time, which remind her so much of the feeling of being in the safety of God's house.

If you’re reading this in the northern hemisphere, you don’t need me to tell you that (at the time of writing) we’re well and truly into Autumn. With its cooler temperatures, shor…
