🌙 Day 3 – The Secret Reward

Every fast is a private conversation between you and your Lord.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for Me, and I shall reward it.”
— Sahih Muslim #1151

Fasting is unseen. No one knows its reality except Allah.
That secrecy is mercy.

Imam Ibn Rajab explained that because fasting is hidden, it is protected from hypocrisy and elevated in sincerity. It is worship claimed by Allah Himself — rewarded not by measure, but by divine love.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the beloved mother of Dr Musharraf Hussain, CEO of the Karimia Institute, Nottingham, and translator of The Majestic Qur’an.

May Allah ﷻ grant her the highest ranks in Jannah, envelop her in His mercy, and make her grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise. May Allah bless Dr Sahib and his family with beautiful patience (sabre Jameel), comfort their hearts, and reward them for their endurance.

We at Zia-ul-Qur’an (Glasgow) remember the marhumah and the family in our dua.

Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn.

ہمیں نہایت افسوس کے ساتھ اطلاع ملی ہے کہ ڈاکٹر مشرف حسین صاحب، چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر کریمیا انسٹیٹیوٹ، ناٹنگھم، اور دی مجیسٹک قرآن کے مترجم، کی والدہ محترمہ کا انتقال ہو گیا ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ مرحومہ کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے، اپنی رحمت میں ڈھانپ لے، اور ان کی قبر کو جنت کے باغوں میں سے ایک باغ بنا دے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ڈاکٹر صاحب اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے، ان کے دلوں کو تسلی دے، اور ان کے صبر پر انہیں اجرِ عظیم عطا فرمائے۔

ہم ضیاءُ القرآن (گلاسگو) کی جانب سے مرحومہ اور اہلِ خانہ کو اپنی دعاؤں میں یاد رکھتے ہیں۔

اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

تلقّينا ببالغ الحزن نبأ وفاة والدة الدكتور مشرف حسين، المدير التنفيذي لمعهد كريمية في نوتنغهام، ومترجم القرآن إلى الإنجليزية.

نسأل الله تعالى أن يمنحها أعلى الدرجات في الجنة، وأن يغمرها برحمته، وأن يجعل قبرها روضةً من رياض الجنة. كما نسأله أن يرزق الدكتور وأسرتَه الصبرَ الجميل، وأن يسكّن قلوبهم، وأن يجزيهم خير الجزاء على صبرهم.

نحن في ضياءُ القرآن (غلاسكو) نذكر المرحومة وأسرتها في دعائنا.

Dr. Musharraf Hussain’in, Nottingham’daki Karimia Enstitüsü’nün CEO’su ve The Majestic Qur’an adlı eserin mütercimi, muhterem annesinin vefatını derin bir üzüntüyle öğrenmiş bulunuyoruz.

Yüce Allah’tan merhumeye Cennet’te en yüksek dereceleri vermesini, onu rahmetiyle kuşatmasını ve kabrini Cennet bahçelerinden bir bahçe kılmasını niyaz ederiz. Dr. Bey’e ve ailesine sabr-ı cemîl ihsan etmesini, kalplerine teselli vermesini ve sabırlarının karşılığını en güzel şekilde vermesini dileriz.

Biz Zia-ul-Qur’an (Glasgow) olarak merhumeyi ve ailesini dualarımızda anıyoruz.

İnnâ lillâhi ve innâ ileyhi râciûn.

با اندوه فراوان، خبر درگذشت مادر گرامی دکتر مشرف حسین، مدیر اجرایی مؤسسهٔ کریمیا در ناتینگهام و مترجم قرآن به زبان انگلیسی را دریافت کردیم.

از خداوند متعال مسئلت داریم که آن مرحومه را به عالی‌ترین درجات بهشت نائل گرداند، در رحمت خویش غرق فرماید و قبر ایشان را باغی از باغ‌های بهشت قرار دهد. همچنین از او می‌خواهیم که به دکتر حسین و خانوادهٔ ایشان صبر زیبا عطا فرماید، دل‌هایشان را آرامش بخشد و پاداش صبرشان را به بهترین وجه عطا کند.

ما در ضیاءُ القرآن (گلاسکو) آن مرحومه و خانوادهٔ ایشان را در دعاهای خود یاد می‌کنیم.

Alhamdulillah, in Summer 2025 we had our 7th iSyllabus for Schools class graduate after completing 5 years of study with us. 🌿📖 This year, 20 students graduated with us at Zia-Ul-Quran.

Over this journey, they studied hard, went on trips, and built a positive connection with their faith through the guidance of Shaykh Hassan. They came from diverse backgrounds across Glasgow, some from private schools, others from public schools; some with few Muslim friends, and others from challenging family situations.

Yet, they all left not only with knowledge of Islam, but with a stronger spiritual connection and something to build on for the future. 🌸

As the course ended, students were celebrated with an emotional graduation and a special dinner at Kebabish. 🍽️✨

🤲 We pray Allah protects them and makes them ambassadors of Islam, carrying forward the light of faith into their lives and communities.
