A place for the people This character filled and local landmark opened its doors as 'Al-Farooq Education and Community Centre'.

This was a time when an unsettled, fledgling Muslim community urgently required a social and spiritual centre for gatherings, festivals, religious education and worship. Significantly this joyous opening marked the beginning of Al-Farooq's neighbourly pursuits to act as an interface with the wider community, to help people improve their understanding of Islam and to contribute towards the betterme

nt and prosperity of the people of Glasgow from all backgrounds. Situated in the South Side of Glasgow in a thriving community that is diverse in ethnicity and rich in culture, the Masjid has firmly established itself as a leading Mosque in many activities, religious education and a place of worship. AFECC invites you next Friday for a powerful lecture delivered by our dear Ustadh Imraan Mollagee as he uncovers the importance of sticking to the Quran, Sunnah and keeping unity amongst the Ummah.

AFECC DAWRAH ILMIYYAH! 📚

Join us at AFECC for a one day programme with our dear Ustadh Imraan Mollagee, who will teach the book - “Al Qawa’id Al Fiqhiyyah“ (the legal maxims of Islamic jurisprudence) Authored by Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Bin Nasir As-Sa’di.

The book is an accessible introduction to the key principles of fiqh, helping students build a strong foundation and better understand Islamic rulings. 📝
