FAITH HOPE AND LOVE SPIRITUALIST CHURCH
I would like to thank Rita Flanigan for a fantastic night full of love laughter and upliftment.
Tonight I closed the church door for the last time. I have ran my church for almost 25 years and have loved ever minute of it until this year . Maybe an age thing, or maybe the movement isn't the same as it was when I first walked into Mrs Primrose Church in West Princess St so many years ago. Recently my eyes were opened when I realised spiritual means different things to different people. Sadly this year I am opening the doors each week out of habit and obligation to the lovely people who come through the doors. I had planned to finish at the end off the year but my enthusiasm has gone, so I have thought long and hard and it's time for me to close my church.
I would like to thank all the mediums who has served the church over the years, for all their friendship and support. To all the friends who have came through the door each week, all the helpers with the door, readings, and healing especially to Lynsey and Mary this year but without you all over the years there was no church. I know it's a sad time but I'm putting myself first in this decision, it's time for me to enjoy time with jim and the family and I have some new things I would like to try. I may not have the church but I'm not turning my back on spiritualism as it is my way of life. It's time for me to go visit some churches sit in the congregation and enjoy the services.
Last but most important of all I thank God and Spirit for the opportunity of working for them over the years. It has been an privilege, an honour and a pleasure to support and help so many people over the years . I will continue to help and support people where I can. I wish you all the best in the future.
