Our Christmas gift service will be held on Sunday 8th December. Our chosen charity is
“Woman and Children First “ based in Renfrewshire which provides support to woman and children who have experienced sexual assault and physical abuse. We are suggesting items that can fill a Christmas Eve box for the children such as fluffy blankets, cosy socks, pyjamas, chocolate drinks, mug, small books, sweets, hair clasps etc. Gifts can be brought in plain carriers as these will be distributed into the Christmas Eve boxes. A slightly odd request but wondered if anyone could help out Mearns Kirk Helping Hands to source some cheap or free large storage cupboards? We're really struggling for space in the office and if we're honest, it's a bit of riot at the moment 😱. We hope to do some New Year tidying and it would be really helpful if we had storage cupboards to put our stuff in. If anyone could help us or if you have any you could donate, we'd be most grateful.
