34th Glasgow Girls' Brigade A youth organisation for girls from P1 and upwards. Meet on a Wednesday at 6.30pm. There are 3 groups, Explorers P1-P3, Juniors P4-P7 and Brigaders S1-S4.

Continuing with our “Fruits of the Spirit” theme we looked back on love (well it is Valentines) and how it can differ for each thing. Our love of chocolate 🍫 our love for our family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, or love for our friends. None of this compares to the love God has for us. We made some Valentines biscuits and cards but no one wanted to share who they were for, it would spoil the surprise.

It’s seems a lifetime ago we were fortunate enough to go to the Pantomime at the Kings. The ticket cost was covered by a generous donation from Govan Weavers Society . Tonight the girls shared their favourite parts of the Panto in a thank you poster for them.

Tonight we had a visit from Govan Weavers Society who presented us with a cheque. This generous donation has allowed us to continue our 95th Anniversary celebrations by taking the girls to the pantomime at the Kings Theatre. The Weavers do a great deal of work within the Govan community and support many projects with donations.

Hope to see all the girls join us tomorrow for the Remembrance Service.
