CHRISTIAN AID SERVICE
Thank you to everyone who attended the service on Sunday it was so lovely to see so many people in our church and thanks to the parents who brought their children along.
A special thanks to the leaders and children of the Sunday School, Boys Brigade, Girl Guides, SWAG Youth Group, Brownies, and Anchor Boys
for taking part in the service and discussing what they had all been doing in their various groups throughout the past year.
Thank you to Donnie, Kevin, and Mirren for playing our favourite hymns, to Rev Robert Silver for conducting the service, Kevin Black
for the Children’s Service, and Stephanie Hamill for organising the order of the service.
Following the service, it was good to see all the children taking part in the March past and for everyone to enjoy the lunch on behalf of Christian Aid.
The children then went on to Airpark Adventure for an afternoon of fun, again thanks to Stephanie for organising and to all the drivers who helped.
A total of £600 plus was raised with more envelopes still to come. This was a tremendous effort and thanks go to all those who contributed
soup and sandwiches and helped out on the day by contributing money, helping to set up, serve and clear away, and to Fiona for taking
sandwiches to the SOCIAL BITE complex in Rutherglen.
