Ciao from Rome!
As I settle back into life in a very warm Rome, I cannot help but think of the many happy memories I have of Our Lady of Lourdes. During prayer recently, I thanked the Lord for the many graces and blessings he bestowed upon me during my time at OLOL. At that moment, so many wonderful memories came flooding back.
I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge from Fr Joe and the rest of the clergy, and I will always be grateful for their guidance and example. During my time in the parish, I developed a particular love for visiting our primary schools and the housebound. These experiences taught me so much and will remain a very special part of my journey towards priesthood.
My time at OLOL was made so special by you, the good people of the parish. You made me feel incredibly welcome and took such good care of me. The chapel house was a very happy place to live, and I miss it and all of you very much.
I have now returned to Rome to continue my studies. I sincerely hope that I will return to OLOL one day, either as a seminarian or, God willing, as a priest.
I will not go on any longer, as I said my thanks on my final Sunday. However, please continue to keep me in your prayers. You are all most certainly in mine.
God bless,
Jordan
