PRAISE: TUNE - BROTHER JAMES' AIR
I owe my Lord a morning song
for God has made this day.
Through fears of night and hidden light
God moves and wills my way.
I owe my Lord a morning song
for Jesus rose at dawn;
He made death die and would not lie
that others might live on.
I owe my Lord a morning song;
the Spirit gave me voice,
nor did She force my soul to praise
but honoured me with choice.
I owe my Lord a morning song,
how can I help but sing
when God is all in all, and I
am one with everything ?

Matthew 28: 16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the
mountain where Jesus had said they would find him. 17 There
they met him and worshipped him—but some of them
weren’t sure it really was Jesus!
18 He told his disciples, “I
have been given all authority in heaven and earth. 19
Therefore go and make disciples in all the nations, baptising
them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, 20 and then teach these new disciples to obey all
the commands I have given you; and be sure of this—that I
am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
PRAISE: TUNE - MELITA
O God Whose first creative Word
set universes into place,
Who stretched across the whirling void
infinities of time and space;
O speak to our chaotic day
a Word of ordered grace we pray.
O Christ Who came the living Word,
proclaiming love's redeeming power,
Who drained the tempter's bitter cup
and triumphed in earth's darkest hour;
O speak to our despair and pain
a word that kindles hope again.
O Spirit, everpresent Word,
God's agent of transforming grace,
Who seeks to enter every heart
with light its darkness to replace;
O speak within the hearts we raise
a joyful word of faith and praise.

2 Corinthians 13: 11-13
11 And now, my friends, good-bye! Strive for perfection;
listen to my appeals; agree with one another; live in peace.
And the God of love and peace will be with you.
12 Greet one another with the kiss of peace. All of God's
people send you their greetings.
13 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and
the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
PRAISE: TUNE - HOLY MANNA
God, Who stretched the spangled heavens,
infinite in time and place,
flung the suns in burning radiance
through the silent fields of space;
we, Your children in Your likeness,
share inventive pow’rs with You.
Great Creator still creating,
show us what we yet may do.
We have ventured worlds undreamed of
since the childhood of our race,
known the ecstasy of winging
through untraveled realms of space,
probed the secrets of the atom,
yielding unimagined pow’r,
facing us with life’s destruction
or our most triumphant hour.
As each far horizon beckons,
may it challenge us anew,
children of creative purpose
serving others, honouring You.
May our dreams prove rich with promise,
each endeavour well begun.
Great Creator, give us guidance
till our goals and Yours are one.

WORDS FROM THE ASTRONAUTS OF ARTEMIS 2
The astronauts are asked if their mission to space has shifted
their consciousness or their perspective on the world.
"It's very hard to fully grasp what we just went through,"
Reid Wiseman answers. He says he's not a religious person,
but after he splashed back down to Earth, he asked for the
chaplain on the navy ship. "I'm not really a religious person,"
he said, "but there was just no other avenue for me to
explain anything or to experience anything.
"And when that man walked in, I'd never met him before in
my life, but I saw the cross on his collar, and I just I broke
down in tears," he says.
Glover adds that he feels the same as Wiseman, except for
the fact that he is a religious person.
“As we get close to the nearest point to the moon and
farthest point from Earth, as we continue to unlock the
mysteries of the cosmos, I would like to remind you of one
of the most important mysteries there on Earth, and that’s
love,” said astronaut Victor Glover, speaking to ground
control from NASA’s Orion spacecraft Integrity.
“Christ said, in response to what was the greatest command,
that it was to love God with all you are,” said Glover. “And he also said the second is equal to it. And that is to love your
neighbour as yourself.”
With the flight taking place amid widespread geopolitical
conflicts and tensions — from Ukraine to a widening war in
the Middle East — Glover’s most recent words “as we go
into Easter Sunday, thinking about all the cultures all around
the world, whether you celebrate it or not, whether you
believe in God or not, this is an opportunity for us to
remember where we are, who we are, and that we are the
same thing, and that we’ve got to get through this
together.”
“When I read the Bible and I look at all of the
amazing things that were done for us who were created —
you have this amazing place, this spaceship,” he said. “You
guys are talking to us because we’re in a spaceship really far
from Earth, but you’re on a spaceship called Earth that was
created to give us a place to live in the universe.”
He added, “Maybe the distance we are from you
makes you think what we’re doing is special, but we’re the
same distance from you. And I’m trying to tell you — just
trust me — you are special.
PRAISE: TUNE - AURELIA
We all are one in mission,
We all are one in call,
Our varied gifts united
By Christ, the Lord of all.
A single, great commission
Compels us from above
To plan and work together
That all may know Christ's love.
We all are called for service
To witness in God's Name;
Our ministries are different,
Our purpose is the same:
To touch the lives of others
With God's surprising grace
So every folk and nation
May feel God's warm embrace.
Now let us be united
And let our song be heard.
Now let us be a vessel
For God's redeeming Word.
We all are one in mission,
We all are one in call,
Our varied gifts united
By Christ, the Lord of all.

Prayer of Approach, Adoration and Confession
God the Creator, we come, in awe of You. We are
overwhelmed by the wonder of Your creation; we are
inspired by the mystery of life; we are amazed by the beauty
of Your world; we are astonished that such a God would have
anything to do with the likes of us. So, we kneel before You,
in awe and wonder, humbled before Your greatness.
God the Son, Who has come amongst us in the person of
Jesus; You have walked our streets; You have lifted our
children; You have sat in our churches; You have blethered
with our fishermen. So we come, with You beside us, no
longer remote and distant. We come, no longer in fear and
trembling, but seeking the embrace of Your love, the smile of
Your acceptance, the touch of Your forgiveness. We dare to
come close to You because You have come close to us.
God, the Spirit of Life, we are thankful for Your constant
presence; for the healing of Your love; for the challenge of
Your Word; for the inspiration of Your Gospel; for the
community of Your Church. Renew us and refresh us; enable
us and enliven us; challenge us and change us; prompt us and
improve us ... in our worship ... in our mission ... and in our
service in the Name of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and
all to Your Glory Amen.

PRAISE: TUNE - ST. DENIO
O God, the Creator,
The King on the throne;
You know us and love us
And call us Your own.
Be near to give comfort
And hear as we call
To You, mighty Father,
The Ruler of all.
O Jesus, our Saviour,
Our Lord to the end;
You love and redeem us,
Messiah and Friend.
You cried for us sinners
And died in our place
So, death now defeated,
We might see Your face.
O come, Holy Spirit,
The life breath, the fire;
Bring power from the Father
To heal and inspire.
Give light to our darkness
And brighten our ways,
Make each breath and heartbeat
An anthem of praise.

BENEDICTION
May the extravagant love of God the Father
fill our hearts and minds, and his embrace hold us
when we feel unworthy to be called his son or daughter.
May the friendship of Jesus our brother
rid us of any notion that we are nothing
and may we find our home with him in his Kingdom.
May the Spirit of life release us from a world of duty
so that a new joy wells up in our lives.
Let us go and reconfigure the world
in our friendships, in our work places
in our families, in our streets
and in our world.
