Gillingham Church of Christ, London We are the church, we believe that Jesus Christ is Saviour and Lord. We are convinced that life can’t be lived without His love, forgiveness and presence.

Churches of Christ are autonomous Christian congregations associated with each other through common beliefs and practices. We seek to base doctrine and practice on the Bible alone. We are the church written in scripture. Any individual, from the time that the Church began to now, can become part of that church by hearing the truth, believing the truth, repenting from your ways to God's ways, confessing that Jesus in the Bible is Christ, and being baptized to be added to the Church. Historically, Churches of Christ in the United States have roots in the American Restoration Movement, and were recognized as a distinct religious group by the U.S. Religious Census of 1906. Prior to that all congregations associated with the Restoration Movement had been reported together by the Census Bureau. The Restoration Movement began on the American frontier during the Second Great Awakening of the early 19th century under the leadership of Thomas and Alexander Campbell, Walter Scott, and Barton W. Stone. Those leaders had declared their independence from their Presbyterian roots, seeking a fresh start to restore the New Testament church, and abandoning creeds. They did not see themselves as establishing a new church. Rather, the movement sought the restoration of the church and "the unification of all Christians in a single body patterned after the church of the New Testament."

We invite you to our Fellowship Service every Sunday Morning from 9:30am-1pm. Join us for our breakfast morning at 9:30-10:30 and for Sunday Morning Church Service from 10:30am-12:30pm.

We are located at the Woodlands Arts and Sport Centre on Woodlands Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 2DU, ask for the Willow Dance Studio.

Gillingham church of Christ is now what was Stockwell Church of Christ. We relocated to Gillingham at the beginning of 2024.

We are committed to bringing people together through the saving knowledge of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Please don't hesitate to come and see for yourself all the good things the Lord has done for us.

Today is a sad day as the Stockwell Church of Christ, London closes its doors for the last time. The church has made the decision to relocate to another community outside of London. We are thankful for all the support and love shown to us by our online family!
