St Marys Heworth As a church serving our parish of Heworth, Pelaw, Bill Quay & Wardley, we are working to build relationships in our community and journey together in peace.

The Parochial Church Council of St Mary’s, Heworth is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for everyone, especially for children, young people and vulnerable adults. It has adopted and approved the Church of England policy for promoting a safer church. This policy deals with all aspects of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Whatever our skill level, we can all explore our faith and relationship with God and the Bible through creativity.

Creative Faith returns on the 4th Thursday of every month (beginning in September) in St Mary's Church Hall, 7pm-8.30pm, led by our wonderful Sandra.
