There will be no service at 11am Sunday May 31st at St Andrew’s Lamesley. The congregation will join St John's Birtley for their service at 9:30. The Reverend Steve Edge is Priest in charge of both parishes. All welcome.

Following the licensing on Tuesday January 6th 2026, as Priest in Charge of St Andrew's Lamesley, we would all like to welcome Steve Edge and his wife Debbiie into the family of St Andrew's. We hope they will both be very happy here.
Steve is also Priest in Charge of St John's Birtley.

Indoor carpet bowls
If you would like to join us at Lamesley church hall on Mondays at 1:30pm to play carpet bowls, you would be made very welcome. It costs£2•50 per person. We play for 2 hours with a break for coffee/tea and biscuits at half time. It is a great way to take gentle exercise and meet new friends. Just turn up on the day and join on.
