This year's series of Talks in the Kirk, organized by the Welcome Team, finished yesterday afternoon with an excellent presentation by Alison Younger of Old Leckie Farm who raised over £300 for her chosen charity of RHET, the Forth Valley Countryside Initiative. Many thanks to Alison, The Local honey producers were also present to sell their honey.
This year, the 5 talks have raised £1,114.70 for the various charities chosen by the speakers. In total, since the talks began last year, we have raised £1,932 across 7 charities plus £39 to install the Welcome Team notice board outside the Kirk.
This is the second year of the talks in the Kirk and we hope to have more next autumn.
Thanks for your support and to all our wonderful speakers!
We hope to see you again next autumn!
