Children from Freshwater and Yarmouth CE School will be helping Tom Murphy sow a wildflower patch on Stroud field tomorrow morning. Give them a wave if you see them.

A fantastic opportunity to involve our children in a community project and invest in protecting pollinators.

Last nights Annual meeting saw the appointment of a new Chair and Vice Chair to Freshwater Parish Council.

We welcome Councillors Whistance (Chair) and Whyte (Vice Chair) to their new positions.

We thank Councillor Turan for all of her hard work as Chair, under whose watch we saw the successful completion of many projects including the installation of the new trim trail at Stroud Field, a greatly appreciated Christmas shopping event and the hugely successful Skateboard auction raising funds for the skate park build.

We are planting a small wildflower patch on Stroud Field.

The wonderful Tom Murphy will begin cutting the turfs on Thursday (tomorrow - 21st May).

If anyone is available to give him a hand with moving the turfs, we'd greatly appreciate a couple of volunteers.

If you are available to lend a hand, please get in touch via DM and we'll pass your details on to arrange a time to meet up with Tom.
