💚 September's Most Needed Items 💚

This September, we're asking Islanders to come together and help us reach our goal of 10,000 tins for the Isle of Wight Foodbank! 🥫

As part of the 10,000 Tins campaign, alongside Isle of Wight Radio, and Glanvilles we're encouraging everyone to pick up an extra item or two when they're doing their weekly shop. Every donation helps us support local people and families facing hunger across the Isle of Wight.

Alongside tins, we're also running low on some other essential items.

Our most needed items this month are:

🍑 **Tinned fruit**
🥣 **Soup**
🍮 **Puddings**
☕ **Coffee**
🍚 **Rice puddings**
🥫 **Tinned meat meals**
🌸 **Female deodorant**
🫧 **Shaving gel / foam**
🧺 **Laundry tablets / powder**
🧴 **Shampoo**

If you're heading to the supermarket this week, we would be so grateful if you could you add one or two of these items to your trolley? 🛒

10,000 tins might sound like a lot - but if we all play our part, together we can make it happen. 💚

You can donate at your local supermarket food donation point. Find your nearest one here:

For up-to-date shopping lists every time you visit the supermarket, download the FREE BanktheFood app:

Thank you for standing alongside your local community. Every tin, every item and every donation makes a difference. 💚
