📻 Amateur Radio comes to St. Boniface, Woodgreen! 📻

On Saturday 12th September Amateur Radio enthusiasts will be operating from St. Boniface Church in Woodgreen (SP6 2AJ) as part of the annual event - Churches & Chapels on the Air.

Come along and meet us. If radio conditions are good, you can take the microphone and chat over the air-waves to other Amateurs and Churches around the UK!

We hope to be on air from 10am until 4pm. As this can be thirsty work, there will be refreshments available, courtesy of the kind ladies from the Church.

Come along and see us and take part if you wish. We will have an exhibition stand and a pin-board map showing places to which we have spoken.

⛱ Summer of Music 2026 ⛱
Our next concert in our 'Summer of Music' line-up will be the excellent Tamas Matimba from the Netherlands. He'll be wowing us with a selection of romantic piano music, including works from Chopin and Schumann.

Entry is free, but there is a suggested donation of £10, which you can drop into a basket by the door upon entry or exit if you would like to.

Put the date in your diary: 12th September at 7pm at St. Mary's, Fordingbridge (THIS SATURDAY!).

⛱ Summer of Music 2026 ⛱
Our next concert in our 'Summer of Music' line-up will be the fantastic Forester Brass with an amazing array of music. They're a 13 piece ensemble featuring a full array of brass instruments along with a Double Bass and Electric Bass.

"We have a wide and varied repertoire of music covering all genres and eras from traditional brass band classics to modern pop music. Drawn from players across the East Midlands, Foresters Brass prides itself in the high quality of its playing and standards of performance. If you like the sound of Brass then you’re in for a treat!"
