🍂🌾 Harvest Festival at Whitford Church, and you are most welcome!

It is sad that this post is necessary.
We leave the church open every day so that anyone who wishes to come in, find a place of peace and quiet, pray or light a candle, is able to do so.
In order for this to happen, the church needs to be a safe space.
This means that if crimes are committed, they will be reported.
Recently an item was stolen from the church.
An arrest has now been made.
The sadest thing of all is that if this person had asked for help, we would happily give them food from our Pantry every Friday at 9:30-12noon. every week as long as they need it. The value of this would, over time, have been much more than the electronic item taken. We are people of forgiveness, and if the person who stole it (we know who you are and saw you on cctv) is reading this and needs help, do talk to us - we won't turn you away.
But we will also let the justice system do its work to project everyone and are grateful to the police for their help.
Thankful this does not happen often (about once a year), but we want the community to know that we take it seriously, and act each time it does (with a high conviction rate).

This Sunday we are very pleased to be holding a Confirmation service during which 11 members of the church, of all ages, will affirm their faith and be confirmed by Bishop Gregory.

Y Ffordd is back on Tuesday 14th and we are trying again with Money, Money, Money after a technical hitch last month - we have tested everything and it should all be working this time!
