Tonight was Just Sing’s final rehearsal before a summer break, with our tradition of ice-creams! We also celebrated a few birthdays too! Just Sing will return on Thursday 3rd September.

This morning we celebrated Action for Children Sunday, we reflected on their theme ‘Everyone’s Welcome’. As part of worship we wrote welcome messages to be displayed in our entrance to make sure everyone knows we really do mean all are welcome!

On Sunday we will be gathering with friends from our Circuit for worship. This means there won’t be worship at Church on Sunday morning.

On Sunday we gather at Pilling Methodist Chapel for our Circuit Service to mark the end of Bible Month! Expect plenty of rejoicing, joyful singing and bubbles! All are Welcome!

Happy Father’s Day! Today we offer this prayer for all who find today joyful and for all who find today difficult.

Pray with us this Father's Day, with a prayer shared by Matthew Forsyth, Vice-President of the Methodist Conference 🙏

Loving God,
On this Father’s Day, we give thanks for all who have shown us care, guidance, encouragement and love.
We thank you for fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, and for all who have offered fatherly care in different ways.
We pray for those for whom today is joyful, and for those for whom today is painful, complicated, or marked by absence and loss.
Surround each of us with your love this day.
In the name of Jesus Christ,

This morning was our General Church Meeting as we gave thanks for the year that has past, and dedicated ourselves to the year to come. We also began looking at the letter to the Philippians for Bible Month. Today’s chapter helped us in exploring working together in unity amongst the difficulties and struggles. As part of worship we were joined together and prayed for one another.
