The next Cards for Casa Valentin takes place next Saturday 12 September - at 10am or 2pm - at Tracey Anne’s home on the Heath - enjoy crafting, company and a cuppa for a donation to Casa Valentin. This month’s theme is sunflowers and we’ll create these two beautiful cards with the chance to look at and test some more brand new sunflower products and design your own coordinating gift tag. If there’s a particular person or event you have in mind we can change the words on the card or add some inside to suit. For more details (like my address 😉) and to book email [email protected].

Lord, we pray for students as they go back for a new year.
Help them to be eager to learn, with courage to ask questions, confidence to take risks, and discipline in studying.
We pray for their friendships in and out of the classroom, that friendships from last year may strengthen and those who are looking for new friends will develop them.
We pray for the ones who struggle with anxiety; may they feel your perfect love surround them, giving courage to get through each day.
We pray for those looking forward to returning to school, and those who are dreading it.
And we pray for their teachers: for wisdom, kindness and strength in the new year.
Amen
