Today we celebrate Saint George — a figure known around the world as a symbol of courage, faith, and standing up for what is right.

Although he’s the patron saint of England, his story actually begins far beyond its shores. Tradition tells us that George was a Roman soldier who chose to stay true to his Christian beliefs, even when it cost him his life. Over time, his story grew into legend — including the famous tale of him defeating a dragon, representing the triumph of good over evil.

St George’s Day isn’t just about history or legend — it’s a chance to reflect on bravery, integrity, and the values we want to live by today.
