Congratulations to Barrow Gurney Church on achieving the Silver Eco-church award. The church was first built as part of a 13th century nunnery. It was then refurbished in the 19th century by the Gibbs family from Barrow Court and Tyntesfield.

High on the hill, the church is in an exceptionally beautiful setting and surrounded by wildlife. The small but committed team in this church have some more eco actions planned including applying to become a Fairtrade church and developing some ecology themed displays.
