Unfortunately I’m on the beg again, sorry 😔

Having a mobile phone, with internet capability, is an essential nowadays. Everything is online and you’re expected to be contactable at all times.

I have 2 clients who are without mobile phones, does anyone have an old (working) phone laying in a drawer somewhere that they’re happy to gift? Doesn’t have to be anything flash, so long as it’s in full working order and can connect to the internet, and preferably comes with a charger. I can supply the SIM cards, just need the phones 🙏

TIA.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who regularly donates to us, including (in no particular order) Morrisons, Lidl, Sainsbury's Racca Green, Tesco Hemsworth, St Michael's Church, Salvation Army, Formula Fitness, to name just a few, and also the many individual donors who wish to remain anonymous. Your regular donations really do help keep us going.

I would also like to make an appeal for some items we're currently extremely short on - Tampons, period poverty is a real thing and no lady should have to go without. We currently have good stocks of pads but are very low on tampons.

Dog food, both wet and dry. The RSPCA has just delivered some pet food to us, and we're extremely grateful. We now have a good supply of cat food but there's much more demand for dog food and most of the stock delivered today has already been given out.

So, if anyone could find it in their hearts to help us with these requests, we'd be extremely grateful. Donation bins can be found at the Community Shop on Hill Top and at Ashgrove Surgery. We can also accept donations on Tuesday and Friday mornings 10-12 at the Methodist Church on Ropewalk.

Please remember, we operate entirely on donations and do not receive any government funding. Our services are offered completely free of charge to anyone who is in crisis and has been referred to us.

Thank you.

We have been asked to share this survey for people to take part in if they want to.

Your maternity experience matters

The Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is inviting parents and families to share their experiences to help improve maternity and neonatal services. Every response helps them understand what's working well, what could be better and what matters most to local families.

If you've used maternity or neonatal services, please take a few minutes to complete the MNVP CKW Maternity and Neonatal Survey. By sharing your experience, you're helping improve services for current and future parents and babies.

The Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is here to listen. We are working together with people like you, plus hospitals and NHS leaders, to make sure maternity and neonatal services work for everyone. Whether your experience was exactly as planned or didn't go the way you expected, your f...
