What a lovely scene in Felixstowe this lunchtime. Under warm sunshine and a gentle summer breeze, the Salvation Army Band filled the town centre with a beautiful medley of traditional hymns. Passersโ€‘by paused, listened and many quietly joined in โ€” you could almost see distant memories being stirred and a sense of hope settling over the crowd.

Members of our band were delighted to have the opportunity to play for Bob in his garden today. Simon had the pleasure of presenting him with his latest long service certificate and award, recognising an incredible 68 years of faithful service to the Felixstowe Salvation Army Band.

We are truly grateful for special moments like this, which reflect both the joy and the care at the heart of our ministry. Our sincere thanks to Michelle for helping to make it all possible.

On Sunday, we shared in the joy of seeing Ewan enrolled as a Soldier at Felixstowe Corps. Ewan testified to the impact of Paul and Lizette, the church family, attending summer school and divisional events, and the opportunity to be our church cleaner as being major influences in his decision to accept Christ as his saviour and take this important step in his own discipleship journey. Well done Ewan! We look forward to all that God will do in your life, and thank Him for you.

Members of our band were delighted to support Christ Church Felixstowe at The Firs care home this afternoon, as part of one of their regular services for the residents.

Whilst there, Captain Paul was able to present Retired Bandmaster John Ranner with a long service award, recognising his exceptional service to our band over the past 68 years. We are so grateful for all that John has contributed to the life of our church over so many years.

Thank you to Rev Dom and members of Christ Church for inviting us.

What a joyful and uplifting time we shared today at the Felixstowe Triangle as the ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—”๐—ฟ๐—บ๐˜† presented the beautiful hymn โ€œ๐˜๐˜ฆ ๐˜“๐˜ช๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ด.โ€
On this Resurrection Sunday, the message of hope and new life rang out clearly for all to hear.

With bright sunshine overhead (and just a little chill in the air!), passers-by and shoppers paused to listen, reflecting on the powerful words:
