In the midst of it all… I still believe 🙏

“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand on the earth.” — Job 19:25

Even in his deepest suffering, Job held onto one unshakable truth: his Redeemer lives.

Life doesn’t always make sense. There are moments of pain, uncertainty, and questions we can’t answer. But like Job, we can anchor our hope in something greater than our circumstances.
Our Redeemer is alive. He sees. He knows. And He stands above it all—faithful, unchanging, and victorious.

Whatever we find ourselves facing, hold onto the truth that we are not alone, our Redeemer lives!!

As tensions rise across the world and the threat of devastating conflict looms, our hearts are heavy.

News reports speak of leaders using words of destruction and fear, with warnings that entire nations could suffer unimaginable loss.

In moments like these, we turn to God our refuge, our peace, and our hope.

As a church, we invite you to pause and join us in prayer.

Pray for peace where there is conflict.🙏🏻
Pray for wisdom where there is power.🙏🏻
Pray for compassion where there is anger.🙏🏻

We lift up the people of all nations affected, remembering that every life is precious and deeply loved by God.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

Lord, bring calm to the chaos, soften hearts, and guide leaders toward reconciliation instead of destruction.

May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard every heart tonight.
Amen.🙏🏻

Hallelujah; he is risen!!

This morning at Maidstone Road Baptist Church, Felixstowe we have our Easter Sunday All Age Celebration Service at 10.30am. Please do come along, bring your friends and family as we worship together and praise the risen Lord Jesus!!

03/04/2026

On this Good Friday, we pause at the cross and remember the depth of God’s love.

In what looked like defeat, Jesus was bringing victory. In suffering, He was offering salvation. In darkness, He was making a way for light.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross…” — 1 Peter 2:24

Today reminds us that we are deeply loved, fully forgiven, and never alone. The cross was not the end of the story—it was the beginning of hope!
