Well, with Ride and Stride over for another year, we can enjoy a bit of a rest. The Dean would like to thank all those who came and helped today. It was a very satisfying day.

Practically everyone who visited said what a lovely little church it is. We like to think so. Would you agree?

Our little stall for our open day for Kentridestride on 12th September (this Saturday!). We will be open from 10am to 6pm for you to visit and look around.

On Sunday we were able to use our new galley kitchen at St Augustine’s. The newly created office space is small but, if we are careful in furnishing it, serviceable.

It's St Aidan's day and we remember this great bishop who brought a renewed sense of the Christian Faith to Northumbria.

We also remember our young server, Aiden, who has been helping at our altar and who starts Secondary School this week. Thank you for your hard work Aiden! Prayers for a happy and enjoyable time at your new school!

Today, the Parish said goodbye to one of our Associate Directors of Music Paul Tidd.
After Mass the Bishop presented him with a copy of ‘Reclaiming the Dowry, a series of daily reflections on the person of the Blessed Virgin Mary’ by Canon Jonathan Munn, Dean.
We wish him well as he relocates back ‘up north’!
