🌎 Festival of Creation in Christ.
The Church of England has recently approved a new feast - the Festival of Creation in Christ - to be celebrated optionally on the 1st of September or the first Sunday of September each year.
Whilst adoption of this festival has come too late for inclusion this year in our liturgical cycle at St Catherine’s, we nevertheless urge you to join us in thanking God for the natural world, recognizing Christ's role in creation (see John 1: 1-14) and praying for environmental renewal.

This morning at St Catherine’s, worshipers from the four Church of England churches in Faversham came together for a special benefice Communion service at which the preacher was the Bishop of Dover, the Rt Revd Dr Rose Hudson-Wilkin.
It was a bit of a squeeze to get us all in, but so worthwhile to hear Bishop Rose preach a message of love for all in our community.
