Don’t forget to pick up a pre-packed bag for the Foodbank.
The display is by the entrance to the self serve trolley checkouts.
After you’ve paid, on your way out of the store, pop the bag in our collection point, located just before you get to Timpsons.

Did you know that Foodbanks are seeing more 16-25 year olds?
New research by Trussell shows many young people are delaying life milestones such as moving out, learning to drive and buying a home.
It also reveals how millions of young people are cutting back on essentials, including food and toiletries, to get by.

Thank you, thank you to D S Smith for the enormous donation of sweets and treats, which are already being enjoyed by local people who need something nice in their lives to counter the bad stuff which is going on.
Our volunteers in the picture had to spend a bit of time unpacking and distributing the huge donation but they weren’t complaining!

She did it!
Runa stayed silent for two hours and raised £800 for the Foodbank.
Absolutely brilliant.
Thank you too to all the amazing people who supported her.

What we actually do is:

😊 Provide food and toiletries

😊 Listen, give advice and support with housing, mental health and social security

😀 Make people feel valued, respected and hopeful.

So that is it! 3 days 146 crates of food later and we can’t wait to tell you how much food and money you have donated to support family’s in Faversham!

But from us at Faversham Foodbank we want to thank all our volunteers who have helped over the 3 days! But a special shout out to these 3 individuals Allie and Nikki from
Tesco and Georgia a corporate volunteer who have been with us for every minute for the past 3 days and kept the energy high and the party going, thank you 3 so much!
