What a brilliant morning! It was so nice to see everyone dressed in red for the first part of our Pentecost celebrations complete with a very tasty cake to enjoy.

Today is the day we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit - the day the church began.

We'll be carrying on the celebrations with our community Pizza Party and you're all invited. Join us in the church hall garden between 5pm and 8pm! Bring your own bottles!

We're having a party - and you're invited!
This Sunday we're firing up the church pizza oven for Pentecost (also traditionally called Whit Sunday) when we celebrate the birthday of the church.
Join us in the church garden from 5pm. Families and children are welcome. We'll have garden games and you can bring your own drinks. We'll also have a Northern Soul Disco courtesy of Linda 'The Cannon' Cannan.

In today's online worship, we're going to be thinking about the theme of martyrdom, how there are some things in this life so important that we might be willing to die for them, and that in this world, naturally, we may have enemies and have the teaching of Jesus teaches us not to hate our enemies, but for us to be empowered by the Holy Spirit in order that we might love them and pray for them.
